About this product

Why this power vs other Salicru models

The Salicru 5 kW voltage stabiliser is designed for smaller setups, such as compact PV inverters in holiday homes or rural houses with a limited number of electrical loads. In unstable grid areas like islands, rural Spain or coastal regions, even modest systems can suffer from low and high voltage events that shorten the lifetime of inverters and appliances.

Compared with the 7.5 kW anchor model, this 5 kW unit delivers the same protection philosophy but right‑sized for smaller systems, keeping investment lower while still covering the 140–260 V input range typical of problematic single‑phase grids. It is a good fit when you mainly need to protect a small inverter, low‑power pumps and essential household electronics without ever exceeding this power.

If your installation grows significantly in the future you can move up to a larger model, but for many 3–4 kW PV systems or weekend homes, 5 kW is more than enough to keep voltage within a safe band.

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of installation is the 5 kW Salicru suitable for?

It is suitable for small homes, holiday houses or low‑power solar systems where the inverter and main loads stay below 5 kW.

What is the advantage of 5 kW vs the 7.5 kW model?

It offers similar protection against voltage fluctuations but at a lower cost, which makes more sense for small systems that do not need extra power headroom.

Where is the 5 kW stabiliser usually installed?

It is typically installed upstream of the inverter or main distribution board so that the stabilised voltage feeds all protected equipment.
